GET TO KNOW BETH
I have a strong passion for health and fitness that stemmed from a very young age. I grew up being heavily involved in sport, always wanting to try different things but with that came a lot of injuries. My interest really grew when I was able to provide that link between rehabilitating from an injury to improving my performance. My experience within the industry has taught me to be open-minded and evolve both professionally and as a person through constantly broadening my knowledge and skillset and really expanding in the health and fitness industry, hence why I completed my Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance to provide insight into the clinical sector. I thoroughly enjoy helping people in their fitness journeys and it gives me great purpose to be able to contribute to a client’s goals and improve performance which I aim to develop further and transfer these skills as I progress professionally in my career.

2021-Present Sports Trainer (EFNL)
- work with amateur athletes for initial injury assessment and prevention throughout the competitive season
2020-2021 AHA Intern (ERA)
- work with and train a plethora of clients ranging from those with chronic health conditions to completing athletic fitness testing for Racing Victoria

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT THE GAME OF STRENGTH & CONDITIONING?
I love how strength and conditioning is a constantly changing game that provides the ability to continuously learn and upskill in order to provide best practices. I love that it can become malleable and integrate easily into multiple settings, working in a team of different professions and it still is such an important component of health and fitness on its own. I love how specific and complicated it is and yet so simple at times, through focusing on quality over quantity and developing correct techniques to maximize performance.
